However, a quick Google search revealed to me that keeping up with these series involved a decade of issues and a couple hundred dollars in investments. They were compelling and so incredibly readable that I couldn’t wait to pick up the next volumes. When I read the first trades of the Walking Dead and Invincible, I was floored. My problem with Robert Kirkman is that he doesn’t know when to stop. Kirkman’s good at writing characters, he’s good at twisting tired set-ups into something engaging, and most of all, he’s good at controlling sequential art.
